Bright World offers guardianship in East Sussex and at boarding schools across the UK. We have a Local Coordinator who lives nearby and a dedicated Head Office member of staff dealing with parents and the school. We also have a network of host families within easy reach of the school. Taxi drivers, fully screened by us, will be available for airport transfers and other travel within the UK as part of our service.

St Andrew’s Prep is an independent preparatory boarding school for students aged 7 to 13 years, located in Eastbourne, East Sussex, on the south coast of England. Set within 12 acres of attractive grounds at the foot of the South Downs and just a short walk from the seafront, the school offers a safe and inspiring environment for learning.
The school has been recognised with a number of notable accolades, including being a finalist for Independent Boarding School of the Year (2023) and winning a Gold Award for Excellence in EAL Support (2025). Its most recent ISI inspection in 2024 confirmed that the school meets all required standards under the current inspection framework.
St Andrew’s Prep offers a flexible range of boarding options, including full, weekly and flexi boarding. Flexi boarding is particularly popular, giving pupils the opportunity to stay on an occasional or regular basis and is well suited to those involved in co-curricular activities or preparing for senior boarding school.
Boarding is centred around a recently refurbished house, providing bright, comfortable accommodation in a welcoming and supportive environment. With a mix of UK and international pupils, the boarding community offers a balanced cultural experience. International pupils benefit from immersion in English school life alongside specialist EAL support, while local pupils gain a global perspective.
Boarders enjoy a well-rounded experience, with supervised prep, a variety of activities and opportunities to build independence and lasting friendships. The school provides excellent preparation for pupils progressing to leading senior boarding schools.
