We have partnered with Bucksmore Education to represent three fantastic programmes for high school students looking for a summer experience with a difference.
For students aged 13-18 we can offer an international summer school at the wonderful d'Overbroecks College. Located just to the north of Oxford city-centre, the summer school takes place in d’Overbroeck’s’ new sixth form centre, completed in September 2017. This stunning campus boasts, modern facilities, providing an ideal backdrop for the Young Professionals course.
Many students dream about what it would be like to actually study in one of the colleges of the University of Oxford. By choosing one of Bucksmore's summer programmes, that dream really can be a reality. Bright World can help students to obtain a place at an Oxford University Summer School.
This unique programme runs from June right through to early August and is based at Brasenose College, part of the University of Oxford. Students live at Frewin Court and eat at the Brasenose dining hall. Students on the Advanced Studies Program (ASP) study two challenging university-level subjects in small classes with no more than six students taught by passionate and knowledgeable tutors.
St Hilda’s College is one of the riverside colleges of Oxford University and was founded in 1893. Bucksmore runs an Intensive English programme in June, July and August. Combined with a fun-filled activity programme, the course is perfect for students who want to maximise their language knowledge away from a traditional summer boarding school environment. By choosing this centre, students can really soak up the wonderful and unique atmosphere that only Oxford can muster while they learn English.
Bucksmore Young Leaders is Bucksmore's flagship leadership course that provides students with the key skills they require to become future leaders of their generation. It is available right in the centre of Oxford to students between the ages of 13 and 18 throughout the summer holidays.
St Edmund Hall was established in 1278, and students joining the Bucksmore University Preparation course will be studying at one of the oldest higher education institutions in the world which boasts the last surviving medieval hall in Oxford.
The UK University Preparation (UKUP) advises students about where and how to apply to university. UKUP provides international students with the best possible chance of applying to leading UK institutions.
A mix of 1:1 tutorials, small-group classes, UCAS application workshops and university style lectures guide students through the application system and provide an insight into life as an undergraduate at a top UK university.
