Bright World holds full AEGIS accreditation to GOLD standard
Unlike many other guardianship organisations, we are fully accredited by AEGIS (Association for the Education and Guardianship of International Students). This means our practices and processes have been thoroughly inspected and audited by this important organisation and we can therefore guarantee that we will act in your child’s best interest at all times.
Bright World Guardianships is now in its third decade of operation and we decided to become members of AEGIS back in 2006 for guidance on good practice. We aim to lead the way in safeguarding for guardianship with a programme design that has evolved over the years, moving with the times to meet the needs of this ever-changing world.
AEGIS reinspects guardianship organisations every four years and we have just had our 2021 re-inspection. We are very proud of the results and of the report. We achieved 100% in all criteria and confirmation that students, parents, host families, and schools are all very pleased with our work and see us as professionals offering a bespoke and total care service for international children.
Bright World has a clear child protection strategy in place and we place a lot of importance on safeguarding the children in our care via training to the highest level for our staff, ongoing support and discussion, rigorous checking and inspection of host families and others who work with us.
